My journey with God began when I was little. I grew up going to church every Sunday and our family was always involved in the churches we attended. As I got older my connection with God grew and I realized there’s more than going to church to be connected with Him; it’s in our every day lives, the way we live, the actions we take. I know He created each of us for certain reasons, He planted particular gifts in each of us and set us free to do His will – He had faith. When life knocks us down, hurdles stand in our way and it seems like there is no end to the suffering and pain we’re experiencing; it’s then when we need to have the most faith. Faith that He will guide is through it, faith that He knows what is best and there is a reason for what we’re going through, faith that we will come through this a better person and have learned from it. He had faith in each of us that we will do what we created us to do, sometimes we let Him down, but He always loves us and continues to have faith in us. Faith is such a simple word, but carries such string meaning. It’s a word that I basically live my life by. I have faith in God, I have faith in my marriage, I have faith in my relationships and I have in myself! I came across a quote a few months back, it, it really touched me and sometimes when I’m having a struggle in life, I follow the quote: “Having a rough day? Place your hand on your heart. Feel that? That’s called purpose. You’re alive for reason! Don’t give up!!”
