A few years ago I wrote down some thoughts regarding how I was feeling with what was happening in the United States at the times. I never shared this or did anything with my notes but it was more of a therapeutic thing for me. Coming across this note on my phone the other day, I thought it was very fitting for the times right now and wanted to share these thoughts.
-I dream that everyone can treat each other with the same respect you would want and embrace our differences. God made each of us the way we are for a reason, who are we to want to change one another or knock it! “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.” This is what we should live by! We can’t change what’s been done but we change ourselves and rally as Americans and make a difference in positive ways not negative –
